I am a disciple of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Although I grew up going to church with my parents, the Lord touched my heart in a real and personal way, and I accepted Christ as my Savior 14 years ago. Psalm 73:25 says "Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you." This is the cry of my heart as I seek to follow the Lord. In 2009, the Lord called me to serve Him in Diriamba, Nicaragua... and I invite you to join me on this adventure.

Ministry and Donations/Los Ministerios

The main focus of the ministry takes place in supporting the Quebracho Church Plant which was started in April of 2010. Quebracho is located about 10 minutes outside the main city of Diriamba. When the church plant was started, there were 5 members meeting in houses. We have now grown to about 21 different families who are meeting with us and looking to Christ for their salvation.

 El enfoque principal para el ministerio es en apoyar a levantar la iglesia de Quebracho, por medio de discipular, lo cual comenzó en Abril de 2010. Quebracho queda 10 minutos fuera de la ciudad principal de Diriamba. Comenzó con solo 5 personas reunida en casa. Ahora somos 21 familias.

  1. Discipleship in the Quebracho Church Plant/
    Discipleship 1 Class
    Clases Discipulados     - We have recently completed our second level of discipleship with the first group of disciples and will be starting level three in February of 2013, We have also initiated two new groups of level one discipleship.
  2. Home Visits/Visitas - The Nicaraguan Culture is very relational. For this reason I spend a large portion of my time visiting and encouraging people in the community. This has led to many conversations about forgiveness as well as opportunities to give godly advice for marriages and living situations. 
  3. Children's Church/Clase Dominical Para Niños - I am currently training three Nicaraguan teachers in the area of Children's church, as well as planning and leading the children's program in Quebracho. Two of the teachers in training have now begun working in a new barrio called Santa Lucia, that was without a children's program.    Teachers from other churches also come to receive training and encouragement in Quebracho.

  4. Children's Church Curriculum/Curiculo Biblico para Niños - Due to the expensive of purchasing curriculums, combined with the lack of relevant material, Andrea and I decided to create a new children's curriculum to be used without purchase price. There are currently five different churches using the curriculum.
  5. Bible Study Cell Group/ Estudio Biblico - The majority of ministry in Nicaragua takes place in more of a mass environment setting. In our small group Bible Study, we work as a support group in prayer and learning more about the Word of God.
  6. Other/ Otro - Other ministries include helping other Laborers for the Lord in their goals... from learning English to Planting churches... the goal is to help and empower the local Christian leaders.
